About Much More Than Bones
Much More Than Bones is a rhythmically driven work created to display the busy and strenuous toll that time demands from each individual's physical being before the inevitable decomposition of body and mind due to illness, injury, and time.
Much More Than Bones is a collaborative work between choreographers Jamie Erin Murphy and Renee Danielle Smith. The work premiered January 29th, 2011 at the Kelly-Strayhorn Theater as apart of the Next Stage Residency Program. The original score was composed by Ian and Amy Green. Additional dance artists include: Alan Obuzor, Cassie Shafer, and Laura Warren.
